 About

This public artwork, situated in the outskirts of the village Loosbroek, measures several square metres and consists of paving stones, a countdown clock, a chair, a street lantern and an information board. Through the installation Lüschen challenges villagers to step out of their everyday script, becoming one another’s opponents as they take part in a competition which takes the winner to the skies: When the countdown clock hits zero, the villager on the chair is granted passage on a hot-air balloon flight departing from the station.
